Sunday Volunteer Opportunity – Opener
Responsibilities Summary: As the first to arrive at Central, shut off the alarm at the office entry door, unlock main entry doors, turn on lights throughout the building, open Sanctuary doors, and turn on lights.
Checklist:
- Shut off the alarm.
- Turn on lights throughout the building.
- Start brewing coffee (regular x 2, decaf, water) use two ½ cup scoops/pot.
- Open Sanctuary doors and turn on and brighten lights in the front booth.
- Take flower bouquet from the refrigerator and put in front of the podium.
- If no flowers in the fridge, use the vase behind the lights booth.
- Unlock doors (remove red security bars, place nearby but out of the way,
use tool to unlock the crash bars). - Turn on the Handicap button light switch at the entry doors and office doors.
- Make more coffee and water pitchers.
- Set out coffee and water cups, tea bags, sweetener/creamer, stir sticks..
